How To Sign Up For BlueHost Hosting

When you sign up with Foxglove Website Designs, one of the first things you'll want to do is choose a domain name and purchase hosting. Follow these steps to sign up at BlueHost.

INSTRUCTIONS:

When you're ready, follow these steps to purchase your hosting and domain service through BlueHost:

1. Go to www.bluehost.com

2. Click on the "Sign Up Now" button in the middle of the page.

3. On the following page, enter your domain name. If this is a new domain, enter it in the box under "I Need a Domain Name". If you already purchased this domain elsewhere, as is the case if your website is being redesigned, enter your domain name in the "I Have a Domain Name" box. Click Next.

4. On the following page enter your billing information. You do not need to purchase Domain Whois Privacy so you can uncheck that box if you wish. SiteLock is also optional, but it is a useful service. (For more information on what these services do, feel free to contact me.)

5. Click "Purchase." You should see a confirmation page.

6. After you purchase your hosting, you'll receive an e-mail from BlueHost with your account information. Just forward that to me and I'll take care of everything else. Also, let me know what password you chose.

6. BlueHost manually verifies new sign ups. Don't be surprised if they call to make sure you're a "real" person. :)

7. It usually takes 24 hours or less for your domain name to become accessible.
